The Concept

The publication redesigns the introduction text of José Esteban Muñoz's "Cruising Utopia - The Then and There of Queer Futurity" in a magazine-style format. The design of the publication conveys concepts of queerness, utopia, intimacy and time. It incorporates images sourced from LGBTQ archives, featuring couples and protest scenes, to represent the individuals who have historically advocated for queer rights and also capture their sense of hope for a utopian future.
